Who We Are

One of California's oldest and most successful show barns; we have been in business for over three decades as a full-service show barn. We specialize in training all levels of sport horses and riders – ranging from intermediate hunter/jumper to performance hunters, equitation medals, and Grand Prix competition. Every year, we develop rising stars into regional and international champions.

Mickey Hayden, Head Trainer, Owner

Since 1979, Mickey has successfully brought his riders and horses to the highest levels of medals, equitation, and show jumping. His charges have won countless championships and honors.

Mickey sums his business up this way: “This is more than a business. It is a place for horsemen and their families to come together, excel, and create a fulfilling lifestyle. While excellence is always sought in the sport, it is the people and the horses that matter. We are fortunate to be surrounded by good people and good staff. They make all the difference in the world.”

Lane Clarke, Grand Prix Rider, Trainer, and Instructor, Co-Owner

Lane Clarke, who has studied under Mickey since 2003, is one of those talented people. He is an accomplished Grand Prix and World Cup ranked rider and a gifted trainer and instructor. We are very lucky to have someone of his caliber riding our horses and working with clients on a daily basis.

April Watson, Trainer, Instructor, Camp Supervisor
